Crain’s Chicago Business has done a feature about an Algoma home discovered by a couple who sought a year-round getaway near nature:

They fall asleep to the sight of moon and stars, listening to Lake Michigan’s crashing waves. They wake in the crowns of trees, “without bugs,” says Michelle Hayward, a Chicago marketer who shares an Algoma retreat with her husband, Jeremy Anderson, also a marketing executive. He found the high-on-a-bluff lakeside land while running Wisconsin’s country roads.
