Bank of Luxemburg is one of only nine banks in Wisconsin to win a 2017 Bankers Involved in Grassroots Government (B.I.G.G.) Bank Award. The award is considered the highest achievement for involvement and advocacy in banking.
A news release says the Bank of Luxemburg was given the honor because of the Bank’s exemplary commitment to political involvement. This award is especially noteworthy as rural communities don’t often have a strong voice in national or state government and Bank of Luxemburg is making a significant difference in this effort.
The bank was honored for what was described as exceptional participation in many areas, including the Wisconsin Banker’s Association (W.B.A.) Washington D.C. Conference, Capital Day in Madison, issue advocacy, Gold Triangle Member-level political fundraising, grassroots member involvement, and banking issues research and assistance
