BayCare Clinic of Green Bay is hosting a group bicycle tour, the BayCare Clinic Century Bayshore to Lakeshore, on Saturday morning.

The event’s 100-mile ride will take place on parts of roads in Kewaunee County and southern Door County. Roads will NOT be closed for this event. Residents and businesses will have access to their property as desired, although residents, employees and customers are asked to watch for cyclists. Course maps are available at baycarecentury.com.

Cyclists will ride on the right side of the road, using bike lanes when possible, throughout the courses and in these four communities:

+ Forestville: Cyclists will ride east through town on West Main Street, then on East Main Street, with a rest stop at Country Ovens.

+ Algoma: Cyclists will enter town from the north on Lakeview Drive and Water Street, then will take 2nd, Navarino and Steele streets to a rest stop at Heritage Park, then will leave to the west via Lake and Fremont streets.

+ Kewaunee: Cyclists will enter town from the north on Lakeshore Drive, then will make a rest stop at Father Marquette Memorial Park, then will leave to the west via Hathaway Drive and Main, Milwaukee and Ellis streets.

+ Stangelville: Cyclists on the 60- and 100-mile courses will ride west through town on County J after a rest stop at Parallel 44 Vineyard and Winery.

Traffic headed in the same direction on these roads, and those using driveways on the side of the road used by riders are most likely to encounter riders.

For those wishing to take part in the event, registration is open at baycarecentury.com for 20-, 60-, or 100- mile rides.
