The Community Choir of Door County – which traditionally has a member or three from Kewaunee County, as well, is looking for singers for its fall session. Here’s their pitch:
If you love to sing, the Community Choir of Door County is a community of people from throughout the area that simply enjoy singing! We are of all ages, levels of talent, and skills, joined by a common love of song. That doesn’t mean dry or stodgy music and rehearsals–we love to have fun, and sing some fun songs as well.
We are not just “from” the community; we are a choir family whose goal is to make the world a little brighter with our voices in song.
Cheryl Pfister and Judy Thompson are our music directors.
Starting Monday, September 18th, we meet seasonally on Mondays from 5:30-7 p.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Church in Institute, State Highway 57 at Dunn Roadd. Dues are $25 per season to cover expenses. (If this is a barrier to your joining us, please email.)
There are no auditions or mandatory attendance. Find out more about us by “liking” our Facebook page – searching for “CommunityChoirDoorCounty.”
