The driver of a car that rolled over in the village of Luxemburg on Friday, injuring herself and one other woman, has been charged with drunken driving, Kewaunee County Sheriff Matt Joski said Tuesday.

Michele Kuchera, 52, of Luxemburg will be receiving citations for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated/causing injury along with a citation for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle, Joski said.

Kuchera and her passenger, Janet Arts, 66, of Casco were both treated for their injuries and later released.

The car was traveling eastbound on Wisconsin 54 at Rockledge Road when it left the roadway and overturned. The crash was reported at 3:41 p.m. Friday.
