The candidates for mayor of Kewaunee are scheduled to square off Wednesday evening in a forum hosted at City Hall by the library.

Incumbent Mayor Sandi Christman and challengers Joe Mills and James Kleiman III will discuss the issues beginning at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall, 401 Fifth St., Kewaunee.

The debate will be moderated by Warren Bluhm, editor-publisher of the Kewaunee County Comet local independent online news outlet.

The candidates will be given a chance to introduce themselves and then will be asked eight different questions about local issues. Organizers are not sharing the questions ahead of time, and while no audience questions are contemplated, the candidates plan to stay afterward for informal one-on-one questions.
