According to the Association:

The Wisconsin Fairest of the Fairs program was designed to select an ambassador for the Wisconsin Association of Fairs, which represents all 76 Wisconsin county, district and state fairs. This year marked the 52nd crowning of the Wisconsin Fairest of the Fairs.

Each year, the Fairest of the Fairs travels throughout Wisconsin promoting the educational, agricultural, social, cultural and commercial opportunities available at our state’s great fairs. It is a position of responsibility to the citizens of Wisconsin and the winner must showcase excellent speaking, writing and listening skills as well as organization, professionalism, time management and above all, a passion for Wisconsin’s fair industry.

Haen will also serve as the official hostess of the Wisconsin State Fair.

The website Wisconsin Ag Connection reported on the ceremony:

Haen, 21, is a graduate of Fox Valley Technical College with a degree in Agribusiness and Science Technology. She is a full-time herdsperson at Kinnard Farms Inc.

“My Fairest journey has made me find my strong suits in public speaking, educating our youth and promoting agriculture,” Haen said after being crowned. “I hope to someday become an Animal Nutritionist so that I can have a larger impact on the agricultural industry and animal husbandry.”

Isabella replaces outgoing Fairest of the Fairs Rebecca Starkenburg from Lodi in Columbia County.
