Literacy Partners of Kewaunee County is putting out a call for tutors willing to help people improve their language skills.

Fall Tutor Training is scheduled to take place in October and early November. If you would like to help an adult in the community increase his/her literacy skills, contact Bob Garfinkel at 920-676-2061.

For more information on what being a tutor entails, a Tutor Orientation is scheduled for 6-7:30 p.m. OCt. 10 at the Algoma United Methodist Church, 804 Parker Ave. This is a no-pressure Q&A/Info night designed to help educate potential tutors. No teaching experience is necessary.

The three-session class is scheduled for 6-9:30 p.m. Oct. 17 and 19 and Nov. 2, also at the church.
