The public is invited to a special Hispanic Heritage Night sponsored by several local agencies and the English Language Learner teachers at the three public school districts in Kewaunee County.
The potluck meal is scheduled for 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, in the Kewaunee School Cafeteria, 921 Third St. The event is designed to celebrate Hispanic culture through food, sharing stories, traditions and games.
Organizers include Literacy Partners, the Violence Intervention Project, and University of Wisconsin-Extension of Kewaunee County.
A salsa contest will also be featured, with prizes awarded to the winners courtesy of Stodola’s IGA, Rose’s of Luxemburg and Dos Caminos of Casco.
