The Kewaunee County 4-H Poultry Project is hosting a Chicken Booyah and Bake Sale on Black Friday, Nov. 23, at Aissen’s Tree Farm, E1105 State Highway 29, in Pilsen.

Serving begins at 10:30 a.m. until the 4-Hers run out of soup! All proceeds benefit the county’s 4-H Poultry Project.

The booyah will be sold by the bowl or they can fill carryout kettles. Pre-order by calling Deb Ahrens at 845-2529 or Jeremy Salentine at 920-680-2018.

Aissen Tree Farm is one of nearly two dozen businesses participating in the 2018 Kewaunee County Christmas Stroll, which concludes this weekend.

Shoppers visit each participating business and enter to win their in-store $25 gift certificate. They can have their Christmas Stroll “passport” stamped to enter a drawing for cash prizes – a chance to win $200 with 20 stamps, $100 with 15 stamps, $50 with 10 stamps, or $25 with five stamps.

Christmas Stroll hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The tree farm is open 9 a.m.-7 p.m. daily through Dec. 24. The family-owned Christmas tree farm offers cut-your-own and pre-cut trees, 2,000 wreaths, garlands, and kissingballs along with a gift shop stocked with over 7,000 ornaments and gifts.
