The 2017 4-H Time and Talent booklet and raffle tickets are now available for download. The major Kewaunee County 4-H fundraiser of the year is scheduled for 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, March 26, at the Luxemburg Sportsman’s Club, E2066 State Highway 54, between Luxemburg and Casco.
“This is one of the main Kewaunee County 4-H Leaders Association fundraisers and supports the great activities and programs 4-H provides for Kewaunee County youth,” says the description at the county UW-Extension website. “This fundraiser helps support Kewaunee County 4-H activities such as Project Day, project and club support, county fair, camps, animal judging teams, leadership conferences, national trips, 4-H literature purchases, scholarships, and many other opportunities. We make these experiences available to all youth in the program regardless of financial situation. The majority of programs and activities are made possible through fundraising efforts like this one. The success of this event is critical to continue the activities mentioned above.”
4-H Families and community members donate goods, services, homemade items, and even cash to be raffled off. Raffle proceeds help support Kewaunee County 4-H activities. The raffle drawing begins at 12:30 p.m. and silent auction ends at 1:30 p.m.
Serving of food begins at 10:30 a.m. with booyah, chili, burgers, pulled pork, and homemade desserts and continues until 2 p.m. or sold out.
