The Zoological Society of Kewaunee County has scheduled its annual Zoobilee celebration for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Bruemmer Park Zoo, E4280 County Road F, Kewaunee.

Visitors will be able to meet “Aaron and Jordy,” the zoo’s new Nigerian dwarf goats.

Zoobilee is a family-oriented fundraiser and most of the day is free. Features include wagon rides, self guided nature walks, a bouncer, miniature golf, a scavenger hunt, teddy bear run, Alfalfa the clown, a car show with a car blowing up, raffles, food and many more activites.

The society has an anonymous donor who will match up to $20,000 of the revenue collected at Zoobilee this year. The group is asking for donations and/or sponsorships to Zoobilee 2017 – it’s requested that any donations made to Bruemmer Park Zoo be designated to Zoobilee.

Any donation of $100 or more will receive a plaque with name on the “Donation Wall” at the Goat/Sheep exhibit. Check website to DONATE
