Algoma Police Chief Randy Remiker plans to spend some time talking with residents in an informal setting from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday (Feb. 18) at Caffe’ Tlazo, 607 Fourth St., Algoma.

According to the announcement posted on the Algoma Area Chambe of Commerce website, Remiker will talk about Neighborhood Watches and community concerns.

Remiker was appointed to the post effective Jan. 1, 2019, and recently completed his first year as chief. A native of Denmark, he spent 21 years in the Albuquerque, New Mexico, Police Department before retiring and returning to Wisconsin.
