The Algoma Area Chamber of Commerce has announced its Visitor Center, 1226 Lake St., Algoma is set to reopen Friday (June 26).

“We certainly missed our volunteers and visitors alike, and we are very excited to greet them once again,” Executive Director Kay Smith said. “Our Visitor Center is a main attraction here in Algoma, with the beautiful lake views and Crescent Beach access. The Visitor Center is staffed by a wonderful, knowledgeable group of volunteers that love to speak about this great community to our visiting guests.”

The new hours effective June 26 will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday; 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday; and 1-4 p.m. Sunday. The Visitor Center will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
