Preliminary hearings have been scheduled in Kewaunee County Circuit Court for three young people charged with criminal damage to property in connection with a mailbox vandalism spree in early February.

Charges will be heard regarding Owen Froehlich, 17, on June 19; Jacob Beauchaine, 18, on June 21; and Valentina Flannery, 18, on July 19. All three defendants have Green Bay addresses.

During their initial appearances May 24, Judge Keith Mehn set signature bonds of $5,000 for each of them with bail conditions that include having no direct or indirect contact with each other outside incidental contact in school.

The trio, along with a 15-year-old juvenile, were apprehended a few days after the Feb. 8 incident, in which they allegedly destroyed or damaged more than 50 mailboxes in the southern Kewaunee County towns of Franklin, Montpelier and West Kewaunee.
