Bank of Luxemburg has dispersed a federal COVID-19 relief grant among nonprofit organizations in its coverage area.

The bank received a $20,000 federal grant as part of Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago (FHLBank Chicago)’s COVID-19 Relief Program to support small businesses and nonprofits. The grant was dispersed as follows:

$1,000 to East Shore Industries
$4,000 to Pauls’ Pantry
$4,000 to Kewaunee County Food Pantry
$4,000 to Help of Door County
$2,000 to Boys and Girls Club Door County
$1,000 to Neighbor Works
$4,000 to Violence Intervention Project (VIP)

“Our mission is to have a positive impact on people’s lives,” said Bank of Luxemburg President Tim Treml. “We feel fortunate to continue to be able to provide support during a time when some may need it most.”

FHLBank Chicago offered the COVID-19 Relief Program consisting of zero-rate advances and grants to support all of its member institutions and the communities they serve as they respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 Relief Program opened on April 27, with funding available through May 22.
