The Kewaunee branch of the Bank of Luxemburg is much farther along toward completion than it was in this March 7 photo. The branch opens Monday, April 24.

The Bank of Luxemburg expects to open the doors for service at its new Kewaunee branch at 8 a.m. Monday, April 24, one week before the official grand opening.

The bank plans to host a Grand Opening celebration of the 980 Marquette Drive location during the first week in May. The weeklong festivities will begin with a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. Monday, May 1. Activities and specials will continue through the week.

The public is welcome to attend all Grand Opening activities to enjoy complimentary reusable grocery bags, snacks, refreshments and a chance to win prizes playing Plinko. Bank of Luxemburg customers can also take advantage of Grand Opening specials throughout the week as well.

Consumer loan specials include no closings costs on select mortgages and home equity lines of credit. There will also be loan and certificate of deposit (CD) specials throughout the week.

Company officials say the new branch will bring Bank of Luxemburg’s community-focused service closer to the many Kewaunee residents who have been Bank of Luxemburg customers for years.

“As the only bank headquartered in Kewaunee County, this new Bank of Luxemburg branch will offer residents the opportunity to choose a locally-owned bank for all their financial needs,” said Bank of Luxemburg President Tim Treml. “We’re excited to deliver our full range of banking products and hometown service to more of our friends and neighbors.”
