Bird City Algoma Committee members are looking for bird photos for their annual International Migratory Bird Day celebration to be held Saturday, April 18, at the Algoma Youth Club.

They welcome all Door and Kewaunee county photographers or “want to be photographers” – amateur, professional, semi-professional, grade, high school, college students; middle-aged adults, and senior citizens – to capture photos of birds in their backyard, along the shoreline, in a tree, or somewhere in the county of their residence.

Good quality photos can be emailed to shepp@charter.net by April 4, 2020. All photos need to be identified with the following information.

  • Name of bird photographed
  • Date and location where photo was taken
  • Photographer/s name

All photos will be displayed via a slide presentation at the Bird City Algoma event. Permission is needed before any submitted photos can be posted on the Bird City Algoma website.
