The Carlton Hunting and Fishing Club has been working with the City of Kewaunee to set up a 360-degree webcam at the Kewaunee Harbor.
On July 10 the city council unanimously approved a project funded in full by the club. Residents and visitors alike will soon be able to log on the city website and take control of the new remote control webcam.
Once logged in for approximately two minutes, users will be able to pan 360 degrees, move the camera up and down, and zoom in to focus on waves, pier activity, or see what’s going on in the harbor, beach, or downtown area.
The club posted a video as a sample taken early this spring very close to where the camera will be mounted. The club thanked its supporters including the Lighthouse committee for their help on this project and their commitment to help fund maintenance that may be needed in the future.
