Bond was set at $2,500 cash Friday (June 13) for a Green Bay area man charged with trying to pass a counterfeit $100 bill in the village of Luxemburg.

Conde M. Haning, 54, is charged with one count of attempting to utter a forgery and two counts of bail jumping in connection with the Nov. 19 incident at McDonald’s.

Village Police Chief Chris Gulbrand said Haning was developed as a suspect during the investigation and a corresponding investigation by the Ashwaubenon Public Safety Department. Haning is scheduled to stand trial in Brown County Circuit Court in December on 10 counts of forgery.

A preliminary hearing in the Kewaunee County case is scheduled for Thursday (June 20).
