Two long-established Kewaunee County families have joined forces. Ebert Enterprises of rural Algoma announced last week that it has purchased Salmon’s Meat Products of Luxemburg.
The announcement was posted on social media June 29:
The Ebert family, seventh-generation farmers purchased Salmon’s Meat Products on March 30. New owners, the Randy and Renee Ebert family, Algoma, will humbly carry on the traditions set by third-generation meat processors, the families of Gary and Glenn Salmon, Luxemburg.
“We are honored for the opportunity to continue serving the wholesome, traditional taste of Salmon’s Meats,” said Randy Ebert. “From one family multigenerational business to another, we are committed to providing the same Salmon’s recipes, with the same people involved in production and the same traditions that customers are familiar with.”
Salmon’s Meat Products is known for their smoked specialties that have been available throughout Northeastern Wisconsin for nearly 100 years. The family business is considered as the premier meat, sausage and venison shop in Green Bay, Luxemburg and Door County.
Building on the strong foundation set by the Salmon family in the community and Northeastern Wisconsin, the Ebert family is enjoying the learning process. Gary, Glenn and the employees have been crucial to allowing a smooth transition. This vital teamwork allows Salmon’s Meat Products to continue to offer the same products with the same ingredients to our consumers into the future.
About the Ebert family: Randy and Renee Ebert approach life with a family-first mindset. They model this approach with their children, valued employees, and community at large. Together with their valued employees, the Ebert family strives to responsibly care for the land, animals, and each other every day. They believe it is important to create a trusted environment, providing a quality product for their neighbors.
