Eleven Kewaunee County wrestlers – eight from Luxemburg-Casco and three from Kewaunee – are heading to the WIAA state championships after prevailing in sectional tournaments in Oconto Falls (Division 2) and Juneau (Division 3) on Saturday.

Luxemburg-Casco wrestlers who won their weight class in the Division 2 sectional were Lucas Joniaux (106), Bryce Bosman (126), and Colton Worachek (145).

Nathan Ronsman (132), Devan Vandenbush (152), Reece Worachek (160), and Nate Lloyd (220) all finished second, and Austin Leroy (195) placed third at Oconto Falls and also qualified for state. L-C finished second to Freedom in team scoring.

Kewaunee champions were Jack Severin (120) and Cam Hanrahan (132), and Travis Reinke (170) placed third, as the Storm tied with Mishicot for second place overall, behind Random Lake.

The state tournament is scheduled for Thursday through Saturday at the Kohl Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
