Bond was set at $30,000 cash Wednesday in Brown County Circuit Court for a 25-year-old Green Bay man suspected in four armed robberies Monday night and Tuesday morning, including a convenience store in Luxemburg.

Jaccob P. Pate was charged with hold-ups at Superior Discount Liquor, Dino Stop Shell and Pit Row Shell in Green Bay, which occurred between 7:29 p.m. Monday and 4:34 a.m. Tuesday, according to the criminal complaint.

According to a release from Luxemburg Police Chief Chris Gulbrand, at 4:53 a.m. Tuesday Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department dispatch received a report of an armed robbery that had happened just minutes prior at Main Street Crossing, 107 Main St., Luxemburg.

A check of Google Maps indicates Main Street Crossing and Pit Row Shell, the last Green Bay robbery, are located about 14.3 miles apart and approximately 16 minutes away from each other.

Gulbrand said the clerk reported a white male with red hair and bushy beard was purchasing a Gatorade when he pulled a handgun from his pocket and demanded all the money in the register.

“The clerk complied and the suspect fled with a vehicle in an unknown direction,” Gulbrand said. “The clerk was unharmed and less than $500 was taken.”

The Green Bay suspect’s appearance and vehicle description fit the description of the armed robbery suspect in Luxemburg, Gulbrand said.

“Digital images of the Luxemburg suspect were shared, and the suspect in police custody was matched to the suspect in the images,” he said.

Charges had not been filed yet in Kewaunee County Circuit Court.
