The Scenic Shore Inn of Algoma has scheduled groundbreaking Friday for an expansion of its facility to include a new motel and Conference facility.
The two-story expansion will include eight more guest rooms, two kitchenettes, a conference area, gathering space, indoor swimming pool and sauna, and a large outdoor deck overlooking a wildlife-filled view. The added amenities will be made available to the entire community for public use.
Bayland Buildings, Inc. of Green Bay has been chosen as the general contractor for the upcoming project.
Locally owned and operated by Bob Davis, Laurie and Kristina Griffin, the Scenic Shore Inn will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in September.
“We continuously strive to accommodate and exceed our guests expectations and know this type of space will do just that,” Davis said. “This project will not only benefit our guests but also our own community.”
The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at the Scenic Shore Inn, 2221 Lake St., Algoma.
