The Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department is asking the public help in locating a vehicle, probably a Ford, that struck the Moxies Supper Club building in Casco and then took off.
A news release says the Sheriff’s Department received a call from Moxies early Saturday reporting that a vehicle had struck their building and took off. Witnesses at the scene were only able to describe the vehicle as a dark-colored car, as the vehicle left the scene quickly after the accident and it was reported that the occupant(s) of the vehicle did not enter the establishment.
The striking vehicle appears to have backed into the building, causing significant damage to the interior and exterior of the building. Evidence at the scene indicates that the vehicle will have taillights with a flare and one of the taillights will now be missing. The department updated the report on Sunday saying that additional evidence collected at the scene indicates the vehicle likely is a Ford.
The department asks that anyone with information regarding this incident, or if you are the striking vehicle and would like to take responsibility for your accident, contact the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department reference law number 17-07914.
