The City of Kewaunee has appointed Paul Jirtle as interim public works director until such time as a permanent replacement is selected.
A Kewaunee native, Jirtle brings to the position a 30-plus-year career in maintenance and repair of public facilities, equipment and energy conservation practices. Specifically, Mr. Jirtle served as the district-wide maintenance manager for Northeast Wisconsin Technical College prior to retiring in 2016.
“We are grateful to Paul for his willingness to help out the city during this transition process,” said Kewaunee Mayor Sandi Christman.

Application materials may also be obtained at Kewaunee City Hall, 401 Fifth St., Kewaunee, WI 54216.
Completed application, cover letter, resume along with five work-related references are due by 4:30 p.m. Sept. 14, 2018. It is anticipated that the new, permanent public works director will start by Thanksgiving of 2018.
