The Kewaunee City Council approved and adopted the Harbor Master Plan at its Oct. 14 meeting. The plan provides further planning for the City Campground, Beach Park, and the River Landing sites. It also provides a basis for how the city can connect or tie the harbor front sites together, building a more cohesive harbor and downtown area.

“The City thanks all residents and visitors that took part in the planning process and for providing feedback on the plan,” Mayor Sandi Christman said in a news release. “City Staff and City Councilors are excited to implement this Plan and create a more inviting Harbor and Downtown Area for residents and visitors.”
