Heritage Farm has announced the first of a three-part series – “Our Dairy Past” – events designed to reunite farmers in Northeastern Wisconsin with their past memberships in local coops, dairies and cheese plants.

The first in the series will cover Lake to Lake Dairy Cooperative and showcase the “Lake to Lake Girl” who was featured on many silos across the countryside, advertising “For Goodness Sake, Buy Lake to Lake Dairy Products.”

The event will be held at Heritage Farm in Kewaunee from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 19, with a panel of speakers at 1 p.m. People with any Lake to Lake memorabilia, such as clothing, signs, or glassware with the Lake to Lake logo, are asked to contact Dale Swoboda at 920-323-3323, or Sue Sevcik at 920-471-9289 to display the items at the event.

All former Lake to Lake patrons in the area are invited to attend, along with truckers and employees from any of the plants. Food and refreshments and famous Heritage Farm Baking will be available.

All the buildings will be open for viewing, and the Hamacheck Pea Combine will be on display, along with Colton, the Pink Heals Fire Truck.
