Sunday night racing begins in earnest June 14, when Steve Parsons will be on hand with the A&A Lock Service Kim Parsons Memorial Trophy Tour.

The speedway Thursday posted social distancing guidelines that will be in effect as the season begins:

Attention drivers, crews, and fans here is a summary of our COVID plan that will be in place for our season opener on Sunday, June 14th.

General:

We are asking any drivers, fans, crews, and staff will be asked to stay home if they have a fever, show any signs of the Coronavirus, or if in the last two weeks they have come into contact with someone with a confirmed case of Coronavirus.

All food and beverage service will stop and the stands will be closed 1 hour after the last race to minimize chances of socialization of large groups after the racing events.

Masks will be encouraged but at the discretion of the individual.

Bathrooms will be inspected throughout the night to ensure proper hand washing supplies are on hand. They will be sanitized at this time as well.

Fans:

We will have signs posted throughout the stands to encourage social distancing. Please be respectful of the six foot distance suggestion between groups.

Every other row in the stands will be roped off to help keep fans separated. This will still leave us with plenty of capacity and there will be lots of great seats available.

The main ticket window will have one ticket seller, the main window will take cash or credit cards. To the right of the main ticket window around the corner we will have a cash only ticket window if lines start to form. There will be painted squares on the gravel leading up to the ticket window six feet apart to indicate proper social distancing. We suggest one person from each group wait in line for tickets to avoid clusters of people.

The concession windows will also be limited to one seller per window. There will be tape squares on the concrete leading up to each concession window to indicate proper social distancing. Concessions will be cash only at this time. We will be limited to ketchup and mustard packets at this time for condiments, please request them when you order because we will not have a condiment station.

Hand sanitizer will be located at the ticket window and each concession window.

Drivers\Crews:

There will be social distancing signs in the pits to encourage proper precautions.

Drivers and crew will be asked to bring their own pens for sign in. Pens available will be used once and sanitized before re-use.

Drivers and crews will be asked to limit their interactions with other race teams as much as possible and stay within their pit stalls.

Thank you all for your understanding in this. Race tracks will be one of the few events open to larger gatherings in the state of Wisconsin. It is up to all of us to prove this can be done safely so please respect these guidelines to the best of your ability.
