Peninsula Pride Farms invites the public to its annual meeting on Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds Expo Hall, 625 Third St., Luxemburg.
The nonprofit organization for agricultural interests was established in March 2016 with a stated goal “to leverage the ingenuity of the agricultural community, university research and scientists to protect ground and surface water in Kewaunee and southern Door counties in Wisconsin through innovative conservation practices and technology.”
The 501(c)(3) organization is supported by member dues, conservation grants and donations from businesses and individuals who share the goal of protecting water quality.
The event includes opening comments and a program starting around 9:45 a.m. and a luncheon, followed by a members-only meeting. A more detailed agenda is to be released closer to the date. Registration is requested by Feb. 6.
