Luxemburg area families will be able to “Visit Santa Under the Stars” in a special event scheduled for 4-7 p.m. Dec. 4 at Fireman’s Park, hosted by Luxemburg Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Jolly Old Elf is scheduled to arrive at 4 p.m. in a horse-drawn wagon to consult with children about the upcoming Christmas holiday. The line for Santa will be socially distanced for safety. Although children won’t be able to sit in Santa’s lap this year, a North Pole spokesman said he will be happy to hear their Christmas lists and pose for a photo.

Apple cider, hot chocolate, and packaged cookies will be available. Horse-drawn wagon rides will take place throughout the event with reduced capacity and masking required.

This event is free to the public, but organizers ask that attendees bring a nonperishable food item to donate to Marv Bins Food Pantry.

The Chamber says it has been asked by the County Health Department that you please practice social distancing, wear your mask, and follow their recommendations, as seen at https://www.kewauneeco.org/departments/public-health/covid-19/.
