Luxemburg Speedway – newly rechristened The ’Burg Speedway – has announced plans to open the season May 17 with the Tri County Heating Kim Parsons Memorial Trophy Tour and a special $5 “Welcome To The ’Burg night” grandstand admission.

The Kewaunee County Racing Association (KCRA), which recently took over operation of the stock car track at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds, plans to hold 12 Sunday nights of racing this year.

Among the highlights in the schedule announced Friday (Feb. 7):

June 21 will feature Christmas in July partnership night with 141 Speedway where we will be collecting bikes for their big giveaway in July with some extras to be announced at a later date.

June 28 will be our annual Hall of Fame Night featuring the vintage modifieds. These classic machines will be on hand to help us welcome in our 2020 Hall of Fame class!

August 2 sees the return of the popular Robinson Metal Night at the Races! Robinson Metal had an annual night at the races in Luxemburg for many years and it is always a fun night when their crew shows up!

August 9 will be our Back to School Night with the Big Wheel and Two Wheel Races at intermission presented by Gnome games! In addition to the races for the aspiring drivers of the future we will be giving away backpacks full of school supplies!

August 23 will see us recognize our dedicated fans with our “Burg For a Buck Night! Call us CRAZY but grandstand admission will set you back just one dollar as we wind down our first season of racing!

August 30 will see us crown champions in all five divisions as we end our season with style on Championship Night!

KCRA said it plans to add more feature events and announcements as they get closer to opening night.
