The Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in solving a troubling series of stop sign thefts in the county.
The Kewaunee County Highway Department notified the sheriff’s office that several stop signs appear to have been stolen over the past several weeks in the Luxemburg and Casco area.
“We are asking assistance to anyone who may have heard or seen anything in relation to these thefts,” the sheriff’s office said. “This is not just assistance to put a stop to the thefts, but also to put a stop to the dangers of removing stop signs.”
