City of Kewaunee Public Works Director Brandon Strelow graduated from the Wisconsin Public Works Management Institute on Dec. 4.

The nationally recognized program is part of the American Public Works Association and requires 90 hours of advanced training through the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Strelow learned about a variety of essential public management functions including finance and budgeting, employee relations and human resources processes, external communications, municipal engineering, management assessment, and public works operations.

“Along with exceptional class content and resources, there was great opportunity to interact with other professionals from the same field,” Strelow said.
