The former Flying Pig has new owners and a new mission. The Algoma Chamber of Commerce Visit Algoma site reports that David and Stacey Vecellio, currently of Oconomowoc, are opening The Grain Loft, a performance and event venue.

If you traveled on State Hwy 42 south of Algoma during the month of November 2018, you may have noticed some activity, or even the lights on in the evening hours at the former site of The Flying Pig. That is because the new owners, David and Stacey Vecellio have been busy preparing Northeast Wisconsin’s newest performance and event venue, The Grain Loft!

Located at N6975 Hwy 42, the property has been vacant since 2016. There has always been the hope that new owners would be found and keep one of the area’s favorite spaces up and running. Well, that day is here! While we wait for all the details about services, hours, and the grand opening, David and Stacey answered our Five Questions For New Chamber members:

… 3. What is one thing you want people to know when they think of your business?

Even though we are an event venue, we are still a small family run business and our guests often mention how they love working with us. They can see that we put our heart and soul in everything we do and especially when working with our couples. Taking care of people has always been our true passion. We take the time with each couple and treat them as if we are working with our own family.
