Friday will be a regular race night at Luxemburg Speedway, but something new has been added after the races: the track’s first-ever Truck Tug of War.
The event pits truck against truck on a 15-foot-wide by 100-foot-long dirt track. All trucks are weighed and put into their appropriate class. The trucks back up to each other and a 30-foot strap is hooked to the rear of each truck. Both trucks pull and the winner is the competitor who pulls his/her opponent 15 feet across the line or the farthest in 30 seconds.
The winner stays in the winner’s bracket and the loser goes to the loser’s bracket. Each truck/driver should have at least two pulls.
The Classes are: ½ Ton Gas 4×4 (First 8 Trucks)
¾ Ton Gas 4×4 (First 8 Trucks)
Open Diesel (First 8 Trucks)
Purse: $150 Winner takes all (the purse is based on trucks 8 trucks/class)
All entrants must contact Eric at 920-621-3272
