BMW has unveiled the seventh generation of its iconic M5 sedan, marking a significant shift towards electrification. The 2025 BMW M5 combines a high-revving V8 engine with an electric motor, resulting in a formidable plug-in hybrid powertrain. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 155 mph, extendable to 190 mph with the M Driver’s Package. The hybrid system allows for 25 miles of electric-only driving, providing a quiet and efficient mode for urban commutes.
Inside, the M5 offers luxurious features such as the BMW Individual Full Merino Metallic leather trim, available in striking bi-color options. The 2025 BMW M5 is set to debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July 2024, with production starting the same month.
