In one sense the order closing the state of Wisconsin has made local government somewhat more open.

Kewaunee County has begun live-streaming all of its County Board and committee meetings, allowing the public to watch from the comfort of home although barred from attending the sessions in person.

The Finance and Public Property Committee is scheduled to meet at 8 a.m. Friday (May 8).

The Public Health & Veteran Services Committees meets at 8:30 a.m. Monday (May 11).

The Executive Committee meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday (May 11).

The Land & Water Committee meets at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday (May 12) in .

The Parks, Promotion & Maintenance Committee meets at 6 p.m. Tuesday (May 12).

The next meeting of the full Kewaunee County Board is scheduled for 6 p.m. May 19.

Unless otherwise noted committee meetings are scheduled in the County Board meeting room at the Administration Center, 810 Lincoln St., Kewaunee, to permit supervisors to practice social distancing during the sessions.
