The National Weather Service office in Green Bay is now talking about a winter storm warning from 3 p.m. Friday through midnight Saturday. Kewaunee County is expected to get 8-12 inches. From the NWS:
“Snow is expected to spread across the area Friday and continue into Saturday afternoon, then diminish late in the day. Lake effect snow will continue across north-central Wisconsin Saturday night into Sunday morning. A 6-12 inch snowfall is likely across much of Wisconsin.
Poor travel conditions are likely Friday afternoon into Saturday, so consider changing travel plans, if possible. North winds will pick up on Saturday, increasing the potential for blowing and drifting snow. Prepare now for the upcoming winter storm.”
