The Ahnapee Regional Youth Apprenticeship Consortium, which includes Luxemburg-Casco, Kewaunee, and all Door County high schools, invites businesses to come learn more about the Youth Apprenticeship Program that will be in full swing during the 2020-21 academic school year. This consortium is overseen by the Department of Workforce Development (DWD).

Two Employer Expos are scheduled to provide an overview of the program areas, discuss the application and selection process, program guidelines, requirements of employers and mentors; along with skills checklist reviews and mentor training basics.

The sessions are scheduled 4-6 p.m. Jan. 30 at the Rendezvous of Luxemburg, E896 County Road N, Neuern, and 4-6 p.m. Feb. 6 at the Kress Pavilion, 7845 Church St., Egg Harbor. Light hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served, with cash bar social to follow, at each event.
